I was flicking through this book, Crazy Busy by Edward Hallowell over the weekend. And he was talking about the fact we are all in such a big rush these days.
Then he gave the analogy of fine wine…
Or getting a child to move to crawling or walking…
You simply cannot rush these things.
Imagine trying to rush a wine to mature.
Come on. Hurry Up. Jump. You can do it!
Crazy, right?
And yet, we are constantly trying to rush ourselves.
I’m not saying you cannot go from where you are to where you want to be faster.
Of course you can…
Plenty of my customers have managed to do just that with this program.
But they didn’t do it by rushing.
They did it by focusing on one thing at a time.
And by doing that one thing in a relaxed matter.
Think smarter – yes.
Set goals – yes.
Plan your days to get maximum productivity – yes.
Split-test your web sites to get the maximum result out of everything you do – yes.
But don’t rush around being crazy busy.
Take your time.
Give focus to everything you do.
Because ultimately, we can only take one step after another.
And the more we get crazy busy, the more we sabotage our creativity and actually slow down our ability to come up with ideas and strategies to grow our business.
