My wife tells me about this horror movie which was out years ago called “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”

Apparently, it was really, really freaky.

Something about Aliens from outer space coming in and “snatching” our bodies.

Now if that ever happened, we would fight tooth and nail to stop them, wouldn’t we?

But it happens on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis with people snatching our minds, doesn’t it?

Let me give you an example…

Someone almost runs into you in the car park…

A client disregards what you said and insists they are right despite all the logic in the world…

A customer service operator is rude and unhelpful…

A prospect doesn’t respect and appreciate your time and gives you the run around…

I am sure if you have been on this earth for longer than a few months you have experienced something which makes you…

Angry… sad… feel betrayed… feel unappreciated… feel disrespected… feel ashamed…

And then fear kicks in, followed by anxiety, etc. etc.

It certainly happens to me from time to time.

But then I think to myself: I cannot control how others respond to my actions.

But I can control my thoughts.

I can choose to hold onto what happened… bitch and complain…

Or I can choose to let it go and move on.

… after all, you and I hurt ourselves through our thinking.

Our thinking creates abundance. Or it creates poverty.

For instance, years ago a number of people got hit by what became known as the “google slap”

Now if this happened to you, you could have chosen to bitch and complain.

Or you could have refocused your web site on a more wholistic success plan such as what you’ll learn at http://www.scottbywater.com/internetsecrets.

The bottom line is there are seeds of opportunity in every negative experience.

The second bottom line is apart from someone physically beating us up, we are the person who chooses to allow pain in based on our response to the actions of those around us.
