Ever since I watched the movie “Dragon” many years ago I have admired Bruce Lee and
his attitude and passion for life.

And yesterday I noticed a twitter post from @worksmartcoach with a post from Bruce Lee which said…

“The successful man is an average man with laser-like focus”

And I thought I would take a moment to comment on this here. After all, we live in the age of opportunity.

I know for myself anyway, there is so much to think about. And so many different marketing concepts and opportunities out there…

Teleseminars
Facebook
Twitter
Youtube
Joint Ventures
Projects potential partners want me to do with them
clients to work with
Dozens of ways to generate traffic
Product launch formulas
Mass Control formulas

You name it. There is so much to learn. So much to do. And the opportunities are endless.
But that holds a problem in itself.
Picture a massive flywheel -
50 metres tall… weighing several tons… sitting vertically… and your job is to get it turning.

At first it feels impossible. You push and push and push and nothing happens.

Then it moves a little bit. You push some more and it moves a little bit further… then a bit further…

Until eventually it does one turn… then two turns… then five turns… then ten turns… and before you know it you cannot stop the damn thing from moving it’s going so fast.

Why? Because it’s built up momentum.

And the best way to build up momentum is by applying focus and keeping these
3 questions from Jim Collins (from Good to Great) in your head at all times…

What am I passionate about?
What can I be the best in the world at?
What will people pay me handsomely for?

And once you know the answer to that question – apply focus until you reach your objective.

Imagine you are holding a magnifying glass.

If you apply focus with that magnifying glass you can focus the sun on a piece of paper and burn a hole in it.
You can create fire.

But if you move it around every ten seconds, it’s not going to do a thing.

Bruce Lee understood the fact that focus is the key to success.

And one of the most important skills I believe any business owner should focus on learning is the art of getting more customers such as what you’ll learn at
