Ever since Thursday afternoon, I feel like I got hit by a Mack Truck.

I went into the dentist to get my tooth checked out and ended up with a tooth extraction.

Now I have had tooth extractions before and basically walked out and I was okay.

No problem.

Back to business.

But this time was a little different.

Apparently, after talking with an expert what happened is there’s bacteria in the teeth, and it’s like some sort of poison got released into my system…

And that makes sense, and explains why I’ve been so tired.

Anyway, I’m not writing this to get sympathy.

I’m writing it to remind myself of the deadliest mentalpoisons which affect us as  business owners every single day.

Here’s my list…

Closed mindedness: I’ve been in this industry for 25 years and I know what I’m doing.

or…

I’ve already tried that.

or…

It might work for them, but it wouldn’t work for my business.

Negative Thinking: Times are tough, so I’ll just hope for the best.

or…

That won’t work for me.

Fear: Focusing on your problems all of the time instead of solutions. In the words of Anthony J.D’Angelo, creatorof the Inspiration Book Series, you should… “Focus 90% of your time on solutions and only 10% on problems”
In my view, these are the BIG 3 poisons which hold us back.

Of course, there are others, like hanging out with negative people, and listening to the negative opinions of others.

But  if you and I can gain mastery over these three BIG ones, we stack the odds in our favour.

After all, success really boils down to a few simple things:

Having the right focus

Having the right mindest

Taking the right action

And filling your head with the right knowledge.

The first three cost nothing. The fourth one cost you time and a little bit of money.

But there’s no better way of getting leverage on the first three than filling your head with specialised information
on a daily basis such as what you’ll learn at http://www.morecustomersmadeeasy.com

Remember, a doctor earns more than a streetsweeper.

Why? Knowledge.

A lawyer earns more than a shopping centre attendant.

Why? Knowledge.

And a business who understands how to get more customers earns far more than someone who doesn’t.

Why? Knowledge.

Anyway, that’s it for today’s “food for thought” email. Time to get and get some work done ;-)
