If you missed yesterday’s webinar, you missed out on something pretty damn exceptional.

That is, if you would like to generate more traffic to your web site ;-)

Anyway, I’ve decided to put the recording up here…

http://www.askscottbywater.com/mikewebinar

But you’ll want to listen to it today because during the webinar I make a very special offer which will expire at midnight tonight. (and yes, you can
either watch the recording online or download the audio onto your iphone or ipod)

Anyway, here’s a snapshot of what’s covered on the call…

  • How to use google adwords to advertise to a local market within 20km of where you live
  • How to reduce the cost of each click
  • How to truly measure the success of your google adwords campaign
  • Why you should use Google Adwords, even if you don’t ever want to advertise online (this little trick will show you how to send your offline advertising
  • results through the roof)
  • Tricks to boosting your click through rate – FAST
  • The essential elements of Google Adwords success
  • How to program Google to generate leads for you based on a certain cost per lead or sale
  • How many keyphrases to have for Google adwords
  • Which spots you should aim for under your search terms (and no, it’s not number one)
  • How to find the right keywords for your particular business (including a special trick where you can use Amazon.com to come up with awesome keywords)

And much, much more.

You can check it out now by going to… http://www.askscottbywater.com/mikewebinar

In fact, I think one of the points Mike really got across on the call was that you have two choices with anything.

You can either spend your money on education. Or you can spend your money on the mistakes you make through not having the education.

It’s the same in every field…

If you don’t learn about copywriting, you’ll make mistakes and waste money on advertising.

If you don’t learn about health, you’ll make mistakes and suffer.

If you don’t learn about managing staff, you’ll make the wrong hires which will cost you a fortune

If you don’t learn about property investing…  or share investing, you’ll make mistakes which will cost you.

The bottom line is if you want to benefit from a field or a tool of any sort, take the time out to learn about it first.

And it’s no different with Google Adwords.

YES… you can get up and running quickly.

YES… you can place your ads and get clicks relatively easily.

YES… thousands of people are making a small fortune with this tool.

But plenty of people are losing money too because they haven’t taken the time to get educated.

That’s why I ran this webinar. And that’s why you should check it out TODAY, before it is taken down. And before the special offer made on the call expires at midnight tonight.

Just hop along to: http://www.askscottbywater.com/mikewebinar

You’ll be glad you did ;-)

If you’re not registered for today’s webinar on how to get cost-effective, quality traffic from Google Adwords with Mike Rhodes, then why don’t you head on over to https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/244739929 to register.

There are a maximum of 100 positions for the call, so make sure you do it now and register early to ensure you don’t miss out.

And you can be fairly pleased this is a webinar and not a face-to-face meeting, because last night I downed a whole clove of garlic, so my breath may not smell all that great today.

Why did I do it?

Well, firstly because I wanted to be well for today’s webinar.

Secondly, because I am doing a lot of work in the health field at the moment and wanted to put some of the books I have read to the test. And apparently garlic has some great stuff in it which helps with colds, etc.

And third, I work alone so it doesn’t matter that much if my breath stinks for a short time ;-)

Anyway, here’s what I did last night…

I ate a clove of garlic

I had a serving of Acai Berry juice, high in antioxidants

I had a dose of vitamin C

I had a dose of Olive Leaf Extract

I had a honey, lemon and garlic tea

And I drank a ton of water. Now I am no expert on how to fix colds and you should always seek the advice of a medical expert, but I think I have managed to learn a fair bit over the years by being curious.

… so why on earth am I telling you this?

Simply because I want to demonstrate a point.

Statistically, most people just take a lozenger or some cough drops and hope for the best. And that’s what I have done in the past.

Why?

Because I took the easy road out and wasn’t educated on such subjects.

But then I thought to myself…

In business, I don’t do that.

I study. I get information. And I find out what the most informed people in the area are doing and I model it.

Why? Because in the words of Dan Kennedy…

“All liberty and wealth emanates from being informed”

And…

“One good way to guesstimate the size of someone’s bank account is to consider the size of their purposed curiosity”

And I think that’s the same with any area of life.

So take a moment today to think about what you could get informed about.

You could start with Getting More Customers by heading on over to http://www.morecustomersmadeeasy.com

You could learn about health by checking out a book such as the Prescription for Nutritional Health available at The Book Depository

Or you could decide to learn to master Google Adwords by registering for today’s webinar at 1pm EST this afternoon at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/244739929

I look forward to seeing you there ;-)

There are two hats you should wear when you write an advertisement.

And the best way of explaining those hats is to have you imagine being in a courtroom.

Hat #1 is the hat of a lawyer trying to present his case and a convincing argument that your product or service should be purchased.

Hat #2 is the hat of a member of the jury trying to make a decision of whether or not to purchase.

So the first thing you need to do is do your research before you step up and speak.

Find your most convincing facts. Dig up the data to help you win your case.

For instance, if you are a florist targeting men for their wives, you might dig up research about…

how men who give their wives flowers more often have happier marriages

which flowers are the best flowers to give for birthdays

How often you should give your partner flowers

etc. etc.

And then set up a monthly floral arrangement for flowers to be sent to your wife with pre-written messages.

Then you could get testimonials from men or  women who have received flowers on a regular basis and how happy they were.

Obviously, I am writing on the fly, but you get my point.

Then, once that’s done, put your message on paper…

before presenting it to the Grand Jury.

And ask the questions: does this seem believable? Is this too hypey? Does this interest me?

Is the offer compelling enough? Would I buy it if it was sent to me?

etc. etc.
