Some people think advertising is bad.

Or evil.

In fact, I think advertising people are down there with used car salespeople in the respected professions.

But I don’t care.

And when you are advertising your business, neither should you.

… because I’ve experienced the ugly alternative to advertising

I started my career in door to door selling.

Had doors slammed in my face. Got chased out of buildings. And got told…

NO

NO

NO

NO

… more times than I can remember.

Then I did cold calling and actually got quite  good at selling hotel cards through asking for referrals.

But it was still a hard slog. And I still got told no more times a day I can remember.

That’s why I love advertising.

You mail out to 1,000 people and even if 980 of them say yes, you can still make a tidy sum.

And you only hear from those who say yes, not from those who say no.

What’s more, when you have a system in place to take orders, you don’t have to repeat the same thing over and over like you do in retail sales (which gets boring and time-consuming)… because you have a little piece of paper (or a web site, or email) that does all of that for you.

That’s why I love advertising.

There’s nobody saying no.

There’s no boring repetitiveness.

You can be creative and come up with ideas, testing and measuring what works and what doesn’t.

And you can help people without bothering the hundreds of people who aren’t interested in what you have to offer.

Better for you.

Better for your client.

And what can be bad about that?

So why don’t you try mastering the art of advertising today by getting your hands on http://www.copywritingthatsells.com.au/cashflow

It certainly beats the alternative.

The rich get wealthier. The poor get poorer.

You’ve seen it happen over and over again, right?

And I can tell you from experience, it hasn’t been easy coming from my middle class upbringing where I was told that money doesn’t grow on trees and we would have to work like dogs after our holidays in order to get back on track  financially.

(and for that reason, never truly had a holiday after I left home until I met my wife and she twisted my arm to go on an Island holiday (which I loved, when I was 25).

Don’t get me wrong, in many ways I had a very positive childhood, parents who loved me beyond belief, etc.

But we all come out of it with some baggage, don’t we?

So let’s have a look at that financial baggage and see if it really needs to effect us.

Imagine yourself riding on a boat.

Now look backwards and what do you see… you see the “wake” and how the water has shifted as a result of the boat driving through it.

Now look in front of you…

Does the “wake” the boat leaves effect the future?

No, it does not.

But here is the problems with us humans.

We have a mind.

And that mind has experiences and then puts little belief systems in our heads such as…

I am a poor person.

If I have a holiday then I will have to pay for it for the next 12 months.

Money is hard to make. etc.

But what would happen if we went through experiences and we didn’t attach our mind to them?

Believe me, it happens all the time.

A better way of explaining it is “grudges.”

Do you know anyone who has had something happen to them in the past…… where someone has been really nasty to them … and they are still holding onto it 5, 10, 20, 30 or even 50 years later.

And by holding onto the past, what are they doing?

That thinking is creating their future. And everything that person does they will criticise, and as a result more bad
experiences are associated with that person.
Ever done that yourself, even for a few weeks? I know I have.

So today keep a close eye on how your current thinking is creating your future.

Just be aware of it and see if it is serving you.

After all, the bottom line is everything starts with a thought.

There is no way you will invest in a program like http://www.morecustomersmadeeasy.com if you think you can never create wealth no matter what you do, and nothing will ever work for you.

There is no way you will invest in http://www.copywritingthatsells.com.au/cashflow if you have run an advertisement in the past and it flopped and you are convinced all advertising doesn’t work.

And likewise, on a more personal level, there is no way you will open up your heart to others if you are attached to the fact you have been burnt by others in the past.

The bottom line is for the majority of people the past does create the future.

But you and I both have the power to choose otherwise by deciding on what thoughts we hold onto.

Years ago I was at a seminar when I heard the concept of niches and the fact that you should look for those opportunities which are…”an inch wide but a mile deep”

And this is an opportunity so many business owners miss out on.

For instance, let’s say you are a bed retailer.

Most people would just sell beds.

But what I would do is break it down into a number of niches and market to…

People with back pain who want to end it

Older people who need a way of getting into and out of their bed more easily

Parents who worry about the environmental effects of toxic paint on their beds from cheap products

Four poster beds for the romantics

Beds which are unique, expensive and exotic for the affluent market … the list goes on, but I think you get my point.

And this applies to any market.

If I’m an accountant, I could target businesses which have a deeper need.

It might be the engineering industry or the manufacturing industry.

Or I could target people who need help getting out of tax problems.

Or people who are disorganised with their taxes and need someone to sort it all out.

And what does this all of this do?

It helps you differentiate yourself from your competition because you are finding customers who have a deep need where you are their only solution.

So all of a sudden you have virtually no competition while also having a hungry market.

Doesn’t that sound far more attractive than being a “me-too” business fighting over prices and worrying about your competition?

You bet it does.

And this process works both offline as well as online.

Online it is particularly powerful because people are looking up particular keywords so you know what problems they are facing right now.

i.e. they are looking up the word “back pain” or “beds for back pain.”

And all you need to do is solve their problem.

Anyway, if you’d like the best free education on this topic of “niches” you can possibly get, then
(just opt into watch it – nothing to buy):

You’ll learn a powerful system for finding niches for any business. Heck, this is even perfect even if you don’t have a business right now.

You’ll also get a powerful set of exercises to download and use to target your niche for free.

What’s more, there’s a 25 page special report called “The Niche Intelligence Report” which walks you through 29 proven online niches.

Why is all of this stuff being given away for free?

Because the guy who is giving it away is in the middle of a big product launch, and he wants to give away as much stuff as he can to people who are interested in using niches to grow their business online.

I have personally watched this video and it’s better than a lot of products I’ve paid good money for, so I’d recommend clicking here to check it out.
